Download YouTube Videos on iPhone: Step-by-Step Guide

Despite YouTube’s firm policy against downloading videos, there remains a workaround for those looking to save videos offline. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it.

To begin, you’ll need to install Titan Downloader, an app that used to facilitate easy YouTube downloads.

Although direct downloads from YouTube are now disabled in the app due to copyright concerns, there is still a viable method.

Start by using Safari to navigate to the YouTube video you want to download. Copy the video’s URL from the address bar.

Open Titan Downloader, paste the copied URL, and initiate the video.

Press play, and then quickly hit the “Done” button at the top left corner of the screen.

Once the video minimizes, press and hold on the video screen. A menu will pop up shortly; select “Download” or “Download As” to save the video within the app.

If you want to transfer the video to your device’s camera roll, simply go to the “Videos” section in Titan Downloader, press and hold the desired video, and select “Save to Camera Roll.” Voila!

This workaround might not be around forever as it could potentially be removed in future updates of the app, so if you’re keen on keeping this functionality, it might be wise to download the app sooner rather than later.
