Apple has made its entire podcast library available online, allowing users to listen directly from a web browser without needing the Apple Podcasts app. This new feature follows the recent release of Apple Maps for the web, marking Apple’s continued effort to broaden the accessibility of its services.

Access for All Devices

The web-based Apple Podcasts service targets users on PCs and Android devices, offering them the same features as the app. Users can browse millions of shows, access their library, and explore top charts. The service also supports premium podcast subscriptions, making it easier for creators to reach a wider audience.

Simplified Sharing and Global Accessibility

Apple’s move to bring Podcasts to the web aims to simplify sharing and listening. Now, anyone with a web browser can access podcasts, making content more accessible globally. This change also builds on Apple’s earlier introduction of an embeddable podcast player, which was launched in 2020.
