Currently, customers in countries like the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and many others can now extend their AppleCare+ plan. The extension can be purchased within 45 days after the initial plan’s expiration. To extend coverage, users simply need to visit mysupport.apple.com and follow the instructions.

Meanwhile, in China mainland, the process is slightly different. Users who paid for 12, 24, or 36 months upfront can renew annually. This renewal must be done within 30 days of the coverage end date, directly from the device settings.
