Apple has officially opened its new store in Belfast, Northern Ireland, marking a significant upgrade from its former location at Victoria Square. Situated at 3 Corn Market, the store opened its doors on October 18, 2024, and is currently the only Apple store in Northern Ireland. This new location replaces the previous store that had been serving customers since 2008.

Vision Pro Demos and New Features

One of the main attractions at the new Apple Belfast store is the dedicated space for Apple’s latest innovation—the Vision Pro headset. This device, which combines mixed reality and advanced 3D technology, is available for one-on-one demonstrations. At £3,400, the Vision Pro is aimed at consumers and professionals alike, offering an immersive experience like no other.

Sustainability and Accessibility

Apple has made sustainability a core part of this store’s design. The new Belfast location runs entirely on renewable energy and features eco-friendly materials, such as a bio-polymer terrazzo floor. Apple’s focus on accessibility is also evident, with spaces designed to accommodate people with mobility challenges. The store features various seating heights, improved listening systems, and better lighting for a more inclusive environment.

Community Engagement and Programs

The Belfast store employs over 90 people, many of whom are artists, musicians, and engineers. Through programs like “Today at Apple,” the store will offer educational workshops on topics like coding and creative arts, engaging the local community. Apple has also set up a convenient Pickup area, allowing customers to order products online and collect them in-store.

This new store represents Apple’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and community involvement, setting a new standard for retail spaces in Northern Ireland.
