Apple is expanding its Apple Account Card to six more countries, making its digital payment system accessible to more users. Customers in Austria, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK can now access the feature. This update gives them an easier way to manage their Apple-related funds.

A Modern Replacement for iTunes Pass

The Apple Account Card works as a digital wallet, letting users deposit and spend money on Apple services. It replaces the iTunes Pass, which Apple discontinued in 2022. Unlike the Apple Card or Daily Cash, this feature does not act as a credit card. Instead, it focuses on managing Apple-related funds.

How to Activate the Feature

The feature rollout is in progress, but some users may not see it immediately. Apple is gradually enabling access, and availability may depend on software updates. Users can check by opening Apple Wallet, tapping the plus sign, and selecting Apple Account Card if available.

Key Benefits and Uses

This card stores funds from Apple Gift Cards, making it a convenient option for managing Apple purchases. Users can also add money from their credit or debit cards for easy transactions within the Apple ecosystem. While it does not offer cashback or credit benefits, it simplifies payments for apps, subscriptions, and Apple products.

Apple’s Growing Financial Services

Apple continues to expand its financial tools, aiming to improve the convenience of digital payments. The Apple Account Card brings users one step closer to a centralized payment experience within Apple Wallet.
