Well-known leaker Sonny Dickson shared images of a transparent protective case that reveals a significantly larger camera cutout. This detail supports ongoing rumors that Apple plans a big change to the rear camera system for both the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max.
Multiple sources now point to Apple separating the flash, LiDAR sensor, and microphone from the main camera cluster and shifting them to the right.
Bigger Camera Reflects Higher Expectations
Many analysts believe the larger camera bump indicates Apple’s focus on improving photo and video quality. If the company follows through on this rumored redesign, the iPhone 17 Pro could deliver one of its most advanced camera systems yet.
Earlier CAD renderings and leaked metal molds showed a similar design. With this new case leak lining up, the credibility of the redesign continues to grow. However, Apple has not made any official comments.
